Polaris EDI transmissions follow theANSI X12 standard. Polaris is able to send andreceive secure EDI transmissions directly with your company or through aValue-Added-Network (VAN). The following flowchartillustrates the electronic information exchange between Polaris andSuppliers. To initiate set-up, please fill out the EDISet-up Request Form completely and return to [email protected].Requirements of exchanging documents via EDI: 1. You must check for new EDItransmissions DAILY. 2. You must send Polaris a Functional Acknowledgement (997)upon receiving documents. If Polaris needs to follow-up on unacknowledgeddocuments repeatedly, you will be removed from EDI. 3. A Trading Partner Agreement must be signed and returned to Polaris prior to goinglive with EDI. 4. Testing needs to occur before going live.
Polaris Labor Flat Rate Manual
This new online tool will provide dealers with a web portal and secure API to find and report OPE flat rate repair times with more current accurate information than what is provided by OEMs. With this information, dealers can increase their productivity and profits and improve customer relations. The new system, developed in partnership with and powered by Charter Software, Inc., and with data incorporated in conjunction with Bob Clements, International, includes an API that will work with most dealer management software systems. UEDA will provide interested business system vendors access to the flat rate API (at no charge) so they can build integration allowing work orders in their software to access and report on the flat rate information.
It takes about 15 hours to remove the engine on the 1997 ES300 and substitute another one. That figure does not include ANY time for rebuilding or re-conditioning. It is based simply on removing the complete engine from the vehicle and substituting an already assembled substitute engine. To obtain an "average" cost for your region, simply multiple the number of hours times your local area labor rate. To illustrate, if a mechanic were to charge $75 an hour, the labor cost would come to $1,125. Your likely actual cost will be higher if any other vehicle components must be reconditioned or repaired in the course of an engine replacement.
