Download Msi Installer Adobe Flash 27: The Best Way to Access Flash Content Online

As per my previous posts, we offer the MSI installer to licensed customers. You need to apply for a distribution license, using your company email address, not a public (e.g hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc.) email address. You will then receive an email with the link to the download page that contains the MSI installers.

I know that this is a generic msi package message, but something has me confused. When i tried to deploy adobe flash.msi it would download the package, seem to install it but will give an error past due - will be retried.

If you have a current, valid distribution license, the installers are available for download at Adobe Flash Player Distribution Adobe If you are re-directed to apply for a distribution license, either the Adobe ID/email address you are using to access the page is not the same one used to request the distribution license, or the license is no longer valid (they expire after 1 year).

I've contacted Adobe because I was completely unable to install Flash with the 900kb installer-downloaders which always flood me with strange errors (and delete themselves from the run location! so you can't launch the installer-downloader after failure, have to re-download it), and they sent me this link.

On the standard installation page the "Install Now" button links to the download page =..., you should append &standalone=1 to the end, then it'll let you download the normal standalone offline installer.

If you download the flash player cab file for Microsoft System Center/SCCM, extract the xml file from the it, then you'll see the msi file listed in the xml file. There's a link for the activex installer and also the Mozilla/firefox/netscape plugin.

Since you have stated that this is the first time you have ever used ubuntu. i would suggest that you install the package ubuntu-restricted-extras, this includes lots of useful stuff like adobe flash and codecs and MS fonts etc.

Okay, this was driving me crazy as well. Out of nowhere, flash was not working properly. I tried everything. I uninstalled shockwave and abobe flash multiple times and reinstalled. I researched online for hours trying to figure out what could be causing it. The main thing is that video was not working on Facebook or Youtube. I did some more research, and came upon the suggestion that the flash plug-in may need to be manually installed. I went to the Adobe Flash Player Distribution page at and I downloaded and installed both the EXE and the MSI Installer for plug-in based browsers. I restarted Firefox, and boom, everything worked fine! I hope this helps people and prevents you the hours of frustration I went through!
